COVID19 Cases are worsening as community infections keep building up.

Jeju has seen 31 cases on November 18th, 23 on the 19th, 15 on the 20th, and 17 on the 21st.

Clusters attributed to this result. They include 31 infected from a primary school in Jeju City, 53 from a high school in Seogwipo City. Also listed are 37 from a sauna in Seogwipo City, and 69 from a senior nursery home in Jeju City.

Amide reintroduction of 'Lock Down' in some countries aborad, Korea is officially 'not there yet'. This is much better although there is still a possibility for `pulling down the bar'.

Saunas and high schools become epicenters for community infections of COVID19 in Jeju, Korea.

Jeju government has recently sent texts to residents with encouraging users of saunas to take PCR tests for the coronavirus. The saunas are mostly women's floors including ones in Ildo2-dong, Namwon-eup, Pyoseon, Yongdam-dong, and Seogwipo City.

The cases confirmed till now count to 50 as of the midnight of November 16th.

A nursery hospital in Jeju City became a victim, too, as it had 62 people infected.

High schools in Seogwipo City has got 42 cases as of the 17th.

This is making not only the authorities but people worry that the eased restrictions on social activities since COVID19 may be tightend again.

Jeju has been keeping its status of daily cases of COVID19 infection whilst it is over 2,000 nationwide.
It recorded, most of dates, under 10 as 6pax(#3036~3041) on the 20th, another 6(#3042~3047) on the 21st, 3pax(#3048~3050) on the 22nd, and 8pax(#3051~3058) on the 23rd.
It went over 10 on the 24th with 11pax(#3059~3069), but came down to 6pax(#3070~3075) on the 25th, 7pax(#3076~3082) on the 26th, and 4pax(#3083~3086) on the 27th.

Jeju has shown no big changes in its daily cases of COVID19 with the exception of 14(Sep. 24) and 15(Sep. 25).
It seems to have a rather good control. But nobody can be sure till next week when the two weeks will have passed since Chuseok Holiday.

Jeju has mostly come back to the normal as the COVID19 cases a day dropped to under 10, since August 31.

The numbers were 10(#2603~2612) on August 31st, 11(#2613~2623) on September 1st, and 10(#2624~2633) on the 2nd.

It was followed by 8(#2634~2641) on the 3rd, 7(#2642~2648) on the 4th, 9(#2649~2657) on the 5th, and 5(#2658~2662) on the 6th, all of which recorded one digit.

This led to increasing the number of people for social gathering to 4(including 2 vaccinated people) in the day, and 6(including 4 vaccinated) at night.

The COVID19 cases slow down after it peaked on the liberation day. Herd infections made people worry, but didn't spread the coronavirus as much it could.

The number of cases reached as many as 64 on August 15th. And it continued to mark high as
37 on the 16th, 46 on the 17th, 37 on the 18th, 56 on the 19th, 52 on the 20th.
But it went down to 35 on the 21st, then, it kept around 30 like 32 on the 22nd, 30 on the 23rd, 27 on the 24th, 30 on the 25th.
And, August 26th recorded 23, which is under 30 first ever since August 11th. It was followed by 21 on the 27th, 13 on the 28th, and 12 on the 29th.

The herd infectios are as follow(all in Jeju City)
64 from a private academy
101 from a noraebang, singing room
24 from a mart
14 from a general hospital.

Is it getting bettet at all with COVID19 in Jeju?
Jeju made a new record of 64 cases(#2079~2142) of infection on August 15th. This came after 39 on the 14th and 55 on the 13th.
Community contraction led to this result. The biggest is from a private academy of middle school students. 28 people(#2079, 2080, 2082~2085, 2088, 2091, 2092, 2094, 2106~2108, 2110, 2113~2115, 2118~2121, 2123, 2124, 2126~2128, 2132, 2134) were influenced, among them, 24 are students.
Jeju daycare center added 1(#2095), and social gatherings did 4(#2102, 2103, 2109, 2129).

The problem is that there can be more. And it is highly possible as students got infected.
So, Jeju government decided to take the social distance regulations to Level 4. This takes effect as the midnight of August 17th. You cannot hang out with more than 3 people after 6pm as a result. Many harsher rules will apply.

Vaccination is undergoing. However, even the vaccinated can't be sure of safety as variants are spreading over.
For now, wearing a mask and keeping away from crowds are the best option.

Jeju is facing the hardest time with COVID19 ever since the outbreak last year.
It seemed it was getting control over it as the daily cases came around 10.
But, it rebounded to 28 cases(#1890~1917) on August 10th, 23 cases(#1918~1940) on the 11th. Then, it got doubled to 44(#1941~1984) on the 12th, and 55(#1985~2039) on the 13th.

So, Jeju cases surpassed two thousands in total at last. July saw the most infections ever. It is unclear it will come to a rest as summer vacation is still hanging on.

The continuing community infection is another reason of making the situation look uncertain.
