Itaewon Shockwave Reaches Jeju

The whole Jeju island on Saturday night was shocked with the 14th coronavirus case confirmed. The new patient, a female in her 30s, tested positive for COVID-19 late that day after visiting King Club which is one of the latest epicenters.
According to Jeju office, she reported to the authority that she stayed there on May 5th, from 1230 am till 600 am while she was visiting Seoul. She came back to Jeju the next day via a flight. She didn't have symptoms till she went to a special test center at Jeju Healthcare Center on the 9th.

This made it worse as she has contacted as many as 140 people while she worked at a local skincare clinic. They are her colleagues including doctor(10), clients(124), bus drivers(4), and a clerk at a food material mart(1). The doctor and one workmate even had a fever, which turned out to be negative innthe end.
The local authority has done tests on 102 people till now, and got no positive result other than the 14th.
As worries are accumulating, Jeju government is practicing more intensified quarantine measures to put off the possible second wave. It also encourages whoever was in the same itineraries with the already confirmed patients to come forward to have a test.
