COVID19 Eases Down In Jeju

  Jeju is easing down with COVID19 as the number of new cases decreases.

  According to Jeju government, it had 25 cases(#350~374) on December 25th and 7(378~384) on the 26th respectively. It has been 12 days to have people infected fewer than 10 since December 14. Jeju explains this as a reult of 'Level 2. Social Distancing' and extra measurea. There was no case confirmed during the night.

■ Dec. 25th(#350~374)

▲12 from Hongik Child Welfare Center(352, 354~364) ▲3 from Dongbaek Welfare Center(351, 353, 365) ▲3 from Halla Sauna(350, 371, 372) ▲1 from Visang Gym(367) ▲2 from a disability welfare center(368, 369) ▲4 from contacting infected person(366, 370, 373, 374).

- 350, 371, 372: Halla Sauna.

Case 350 is family with case 293. Showed symptoms before taking a test.

Case 371 is family with case 189. Has been isolated since December 18th.

Case 372 contacted case 177.

- 365: Related to Dongbaek Welfare Center.

- 367: Family with case 334 who got the coronavirus from the gym.

- 368, 369: Family with case 310 who was infected from the disability welfare center.

- Case 370 contacted case 331, and case 373 did case 346.

- 366, 374: Related to the power plant in Seogwipo. Tested postive after the overall check-up of 476 people.

(As of the midnight of December 25, the numbers of the infected are 12 from the welfare center, 12 from the child welfare center, 4 from the gym, and 5 from the disability welfare center).

  The employee who got infected had no contacted with guests and wore the facial mask properly. Tests were done for 122 staffers. 116 got 'negative' results. 6 has been put into isolation.

 

● Dec. 26th(#375~381)

  Jeju had 7 new cases on December 26. This is remarkable as it was 12 days ago when it had newly infected people fewer than 10. Jeju explains this is due to the level 2. social isolation and extra measures. There was no case overnight.

  The new cases are 2 from Halla Sauna(375, 381), 2 from Dongbaek Welfare Center(377, 380), 1 from 7080 Live Cafe(378), 1 from Daegi high school(379), and 1 still to be identified.

- 375, 381: Related to Halla Sauna.

Case 375 visited the sauna, and has been in isolation for the reason.

Case 381 is family with case 372. This person has been in isolation before testing positive.

- 377, 380: Family. Case 372 contacted case 335 who is an employee at Dongbaek Welfare Center.

- 378: Visited 7080 Live Cafe. Tested negative on December 18th, but got positive at the test before getting free from isolation.

- 379: A high school student. Tested postive at the second trial.

- 376: Visited Jeju East Healthcare Center after hearing of the Dongbaek Center cases.

(One of the infected is an high-ranking officer of Jeju City Government. Jeju has executed COVID19 tests on 24 officers, all of whom tested negative. It will perform extra testt on 142)
