Jeju has been hit by the largest cases of COVID19 on the 1st day of February. 122 people tested positive, which is a new record. It just jumped from the former peak of 76 a few days ago.
64 of them were revealed to be infected through contacting others within the island. 31 are from outside by either visiting the mainland or getting close to the infected there. 25 are still unknown, and it can change a big difference to the result. No community infection case was found, yet.
There are 18 cases of omicron variant involved. All of them are from domestic origin.
