Only 1 Day But Jeju Had '0' COVID19 Case

  Jeju had '0' case of COVID19 on January 16th. This is after 37 days since December 11th. But it got 2 cases in the afternoon of the 17th.

  Jeju on Sunday announced that it tested 585 people on the 16th, with no result of 'positive'. This is the only in the nation that had 500 people infected on the day.

  However, 2 infection cases(498~499) were reported the next day.

- 498: Contacted case 475(January 7th). Been in isolation before having a fever and going to Jeju Healthcare Center for test.

- 499: Contacted an infected person in Gwangju City. Came back to the island on the 14th, and was notified of being in a same place with the patient.

 

  All 33 People who are related with the dance teacher tested negative.

  The remained 2 people who were on the list of visitors to BTJ Global Center in Sangju, Gyeongbuk, had negative results. Therefore, 36 of 39 from the list tested safe. One person was transerred to the list of Gyeonggi-do Province. The other 2 were confirmed not having been to the center.
