Jeju got two new cases of group infection as of January 4th, 5pm.
One is from a Seogwipo Primary School 2 that had 21(22 so far) on the day.
The other is from Jeju Missoinary Center, which got 9 people tested positive.
A nursing center in Jeju City added 1 more case with summing upto 19 so far.

These group infections totaled the whole cases to 42 a day.
It has been almost a month since December 10th that it was over 40 cases daily.

  Jeju had only 1 new case(#490) of COVID19 on December 12. It has been 41 days since it had the same number of infection a day. This result came out of testing 736 people.

  Case 490 is being scrutinized to trace the infection route. The person went to Jeju Healthcare Center after realizing of running into the itineraries of a confirmed patient.

  Besides this, Jeju was handed over with the list of 38 people who visited 'BTJ Center of the Nations' in Sangju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province. It has been known to be another possible epicenter of spreading the coronavirus as it reportedly broke the governmental restrictions on COVID19 such as gathering in big groups with leaving mobile phones off. Jeju has tried to reach them, but succeeded with only 11. Out of this, 5 got negative results, while 6 are waiting to get theirs. 9 denied going to the center, Jeju revealed.

   Jeju had 4 more COVID19 cases on December 9th. It's been 8 days with under 10 people infected a day since the 2nd. This averages to 6.7 a day.

  The 4 new infection were throught contacting people who contracted the coronavirus. 1 of them got it through Dongbaek Welfare Center, and tested positive before being released from the isolation.

- 482: Family with case 377. Related with Dongbaek Welfare Center. Been in isolation since case 377 got positive on December 26th before finding being infected on the 8th. This marks up 21 people who contracted the virus through the center.

- 483: Family with case 475 who tested positive on the 7th.

- 484: Family with the infected in Sangju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Visitied the city from December 26th to January 6th. Was notified of the family was infected on the 8th.

- 485: Contacted case 471. Was informed of being in a close range with case 471 on the 4th.

  Jeju had 6 more COVID19 cases(471~476) added on December 7th. Two people tested positive after 5pm. it totals to 55 this month, and no more than 10 got infected each day since the 2nd.

  The six new patients are ▲2 from contacting the infected(471, 474) ▲1 from contacting the coronavirus bearer in the mainland(472) ▲1 from Dongbaek Welfare Center(476) ▲2 to be investigated.

- 471: Contacted case 466. Visited Jeju Healthcare center to have a check.

- 472: Was notified of contacting an infected person from Incheon in Seoul on the 6th.

- 474: Contacted case 459.

- 476: Family with case 342, and the case is related with Dongbaek Welfare Center. Been in isolation since December 24th after the 342 tested positive. This made it 20 in total who contracted COVID19 as of the midnight of December 7th.

- 473, 475: Went to take a test before being told. The study is going on.

Case 473 arrived in Jeju from Yeosu on December 5th. And case 475 had symptoms of a shiver, sore throat, and coughing before goint to the COVID19 clinic at Jeju Univ. Hospital.

    The number of new COVID19 cases in Jeju dropped to 5 on Janunary 5th. The average of daily infection went down 10 as marking 7.7 since December 30th.

- 458: Related to the rehab center. Family with case 311. Been in isolation since December 23rd.

(This sums up to 19 people who got infected through the rehab center, as of the midnight of the 5th).

- 457, 459, 460, 461: Visited clinics after having symptoms and tested positive.

Case 457 had coughing, shiver, etc. Case 459 had a fever. Case 460 had a fever and coughing. And case 461 had a running nose.

The health authority identified 26 people as close contact group and excecuted tests.

* Jeju also found a doctor got infected who is running a clinic in Jeju City. It tested visitors to the clinic of 28 who went there on January 4th and 5th.

  Jeju is easing down with COVID19 as the number of new cases decreases.

  According to Jeju government, it had 25 cases(#350~374) on December 25th and 7(378~384) on the 26th respectively. It has been 12 days to have people infected fewer than 10 since December 14. Jeju explains this as a reult of 'Level 2. Social Distancing' and extra measurea. There was no case confirmed during the night.

Case 350 is family with case 293. Showed symptoms before taking a test.

Case 371 is family with case 189. Has been isolated since December 18th.

Case 372 contacted case 177.

- 365: Related to Dongbaek Welfare Center.

- 367: Family with case 334 who got the coronavirus from the gym.

- 368, 369: Family with case 310 who was infected from the disability welfare center.

- Case 370 contacted case 331, and case 373 did case 346.

- 366, 374: Related to the power plant in Seogwipo. Tested postive after the overall check-up of 476 people.

(As of the midnight of December 25, the numbers of the infected are 12 from the welfare center, 12 from the child welfare center, 4 from the gym, and 5 from the disability welfare center).

▶ Dream Tower Cases

  The employee who got infected had no contacted with guests and wore the facial mask properly. Tests were done for 122 staffers. 116 got 'negative' results. 6 has been put into isolation.

● Dec. 26th(#375~381)

  Jeju had 7 new cases on December 26. This is remarkable as it was 12 days ago when it had newly infected people fewer than 10. Jeju explains this is due to the level 2. social isolation and extra measures. There was no case overnight.

  The new cases are 2 from Halla Sauna(375, 381), 2 from Dongbaek Welfare Center(377, 380), 1 from 7080 Live Cafe(378), 1 from Daegi high school(379), and 1 still to be identified.

- 375, 381: Related to Halla Sauna.

Case 375 visited the sauna, and has been in isolation for the reason.

Case 381 is family with case 372. This person has been in isolation before testing positive.

- 377, 380: Family. Case 372 contacted case 335 who is an employee at Dongbaek Welfare Center.

- 378: Visited 7080 Live Cafe. Tested negative on December 18th, but got positive at the test before getting free from isolation.

- 379: A high school student. Tested postive at the second trial.

- 376: Visited Jeju East Healthcare Center after hearing of the Dongbaek Center cases.

(One of the infected is an high-ranking officer of Jeju City Government. Jeju has executed COVID19 tests on 24 officers, all of whom tested negative. It will perform extra testt on 142)

  Jeju has 19 cases on Christmas Eve and 15 on Christmas day(as of 5 pm). This marked 364 in Jeju only. But the daily cases dropped under 30 in 8 days since December 18.

- 333, 334: Contacted case 302. Related with the gym in Seogwipo.

- 335, 336, 337, 338, 339, 342, 344, 345: Related Dongbaek Welfare Center. A user was known to be a family with whom got infected. The authority tested the staff and users of 18 people. 8 of them got contracted.

335 & 338: Staffers at the center.

336, 337, & 339: Family with case 314.

344: User.

345: Family with case 335.

- 343, 347, 348, 349: Related with Halla Sauna.

Case 343 & 347 contacted case 299 who tested positive on the 22nd.

Case 348 is a family with case 293(Dec. 22nd).

Case 349 is a family with case 189, and has been isolated since December 18. Showed symptoms like anosmia, and had a test.

- 341: Related to Daeseong Academy. Family with cases 316 and 330 who tested positive on the 23rd.

- 331, 340, 346: Being investigated.

(As of the midnight of December 24th, 62 people have been infected through Halla Sauna. 9 from Dongbaek Welfare Center. And another 9 from Daeseong Academy.)

(A patient is known to work at Namjeju Thermal Power Plant. The authority tested all 321 employees.
