The Bangladeshi exchange student who tested positive for COVID19 in June was discharged from hospital finally on July 24.

Jeju local government today announced this news. It took more than 5 weeks since she got infected on June 18th with 2 other companies.

So, Jeju has 7 patients of the coronavirus as of today.

It shouldn't be this way. I hoped there is no more COVID19 positive case from the Gwangjin woman. But a person who went to a singing bar in Hallim with the 21st and 25th patients tested positive today, July 20.
This is the first time in Jeju that contagion may be for the secondary infection. So, it sounds quite serious now.
I wish there would be no further infection.

So, as of this afternoon, Jeju has 7 people infected.

The new patient came from Jeongdaun Teahouse in Hallim where she visited every day. This is the second for the place.

A woman in Seoul, who tested positive for COVID19, is revealed that she visited Jeju for a few days just before her trip.
She got the result today at 8 am. Jeju local government was informed of her itineraries as below from July 9 till July 14. She stayed mostly in Hallim where her family lives. Jeju proceeded quarantine process. It is performing further investigation.

Jeju is still healthy comparing with increasing cases of COVID19 on the mainland. You can say that as it has only 2 cases still at hospital on July 7. And, the two patients are from Bangladesh and Kazakhstan respectively. The two companions of the Bangladeshi were discharged on July 3.

Now, people are more worried about vacationers from the mainland as every beach on the island officially opened for public from July 1. It makes a sense because Jeju has had no community infection to this day.

So, it sounds very important to keep COVID19 etiquette like wearing a facial mask all the time, keeping social distance, etc. Stay healthy, everyone!

The 20th COVID19 case is just announced by Jeju government on Saturday.
According to it, a female(20s) from Kazakhstan tested positive for the novel coronavirus at around 4 pm, July 4th. She arrived in Jeju at 5:20 pm via Incheon International Airport.
She took a test at the walk-through screening clinic at Jeju airport. It resulted 'Undecided'. So, authorities had another one at noon today.
She has no symptoms, but has been tranferred to Jeju Univ. hospital for treatment.

A new COVID19 patient in Gwangju is confirmed to have visited Jeju before testing positive, Jeju office on Tuesday night announced.
The patient, whose rough identity is not opened yet, went to a hospital in Gwangju with symptoms of enteritis. But, he got COVID19 tests as he developed pneumonia cases, and had the result.

The problem lies with the fact that he felt fatigue and even had diarrhea which are common symptoms of COVID19. His itineraries include Jeju from June 22 to 24. He took ferries for a round trip using his car. He traveled with 4 people.

Dream Tower in Nohyeong, Jeju, is close to completion. It's scheduled to be open in July.

It looks alright at night without nothing special to see around. But it has a lot of problems to solve.

They are heavy traffic jam, water supply and sewage system, casino, room oversupply, and so on.
How will they take care of these?
