  It is another day with only 2 cases infected with COVID19 in Jeju. It is out of 613 tested.

- 488: Went to a restaurant where case 471 was present at the same time. Was notified of this by the healthcare center. Tested positive after getting a test done.

- 489: Contacted case 441 who got a positive result on December 3rd.

  Jeju on Monday announced it had only 2 new cases(486~487) of COVID19 infection. It has been a month since it had this low number. And it has been a week with new infection no more than 10.

  Jeju believes this is because samples got fewer as it had the cold wave warning. So, it is still tyring to be on  alert.

- 486: Had a minor fever before going to the clinic at Jeju Healthcare Center for having a test on December 9th.

- 487: Family with case 485 who tested positive on December 9th.

  As of 10 am on the 11th, Jeju has 538 beds(128 at Jeju Uni. Hospital, 106 from Seogwipo Medical Center, 109 at Jeju Medical Center, 195 at Community Treatment Center). 87(32, 26, 29, and 0 respectively) of them are occupied now, which sums upto 16% of usage.)

   Jeju had 4 more COVID19 cases on December 9th. It's been 8 days with under 10 people infected a day since the 2nd. This averages to 6.7 a day.

  The 4 new infection were throught contacting people who contracted the coronavirus. 1 of them got it through Dongbaek Welfare Center, and tested positive before being released from the isolation.

- 482: Family with case 377. Related with Dongbaek Welfare Center. Been in isolation since case 377 got positive on December 26th before finding being infected on the 8th. This marks up 21 people who contracted the virus through the center.

- 483: Family with case 475 who tested positive on the 7th.

- 484: Family with the infected in Sangju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Visitied the city from December 26th to January 6th. Was notified of the family was infected on the 8th.

- 485: Contacted case 471. Was informed of being in a close range with case 471 on the 4th.

  Jeju had 5 more cases of COVID19 confirmed on December 8th. It has been a week since it had no more than 10. The 5 people contracted the coronavirus through contacting the infected in Jeju.

- 477: Family with case 460. Been in isolation since December 5th.

- 478: Contacted case 466 who was confirmed on December 6th.

- 479, 480, 481: Family with case 475 who got positive result on December 7th.

  Jeju had 6 more COVID19 cases(471~476) added on December 7th. Two people tested positive after 5pm. it totals to 55 this month, and no more than 10 got infected each day since the 2nd.

  The six new patients are ▲2 from contacting the infected(471, 474) ▲1 from contacting the coronavirus bearer in the mainland(472) ▲1 from Dongbaek Welfare Center(476) ▲2 to be investigated.

- 471: Contacted case 466. Visited Jeju Healthcare center to have a check.

- 472: Was notified of contacting an infected person from Incheon in Seoul on the 6th.

- 474: Contacted case 459.

- 476: Family with case 342, and the case is related with Dongbaek Welfare Center. Been in isolation since December 24th after the 342 tested positive. This made it 20 in total who contracted COVID19 as of the midnight of December 7th.

- 473, 475: Went to take a test before being told. The study is going on.

Case 473 arrived in Jeju from Yeosu on December 5th. And case 475 had symptoms of a shiver, sore throat, and coughing before goint to the COVID19 clinic at Jeju Univ. Hospital.

  Jeju has 9 more cases of COVID19(#462~470) on December 6th. And it has 4 more as of 5 pm of December 7th.

  The 9 people who got infected are ▲6 from contacting patients(463·464·465·467·469·470) ▲1 from Halla Sauna(462) and 2 will be decided(466·468).

- 463: Contacted case 459. Case 459 tested postived on December 5th.

- 464, 470: Family with case 441 who was confirmed of the infection on the 3rd. Been in isolation before having symptoms.

- 465, 467, 469: Contacted case 460. Cases 465 and 467 are family with case 460. Had themselves tested right after case 460 tested positive. And case 469 contacted case 460.

- 462: Family with case 189 who tested positive on December 18th. Been in isolation before getting the result from the last-moment test. This marks up 88 people who contracted the coronavirus throught Halla Sauna.

- 466, 468: To be resolved.

● Dec. 7th(#417~474. As of 5 pm)

- 471: Contacted case 466 who was confirmed of infection.

- 472: Contacted a patient from the mainland. Was notified of the fact on the 6th and had a test done.

- 473, 474: To be researched.

    The number of new COVID19 cases in Jeju dropped to 5 on Janunary 5th. The average of daily infection went down 10 as marking 7.7 since December 30th.

- 458: Related to the rehab center. Family with case 311. Been in isolation since December 23rd.

(This sums up to 19 people who got infected through the rehab center, as of the midnight of the 5th).

- 457, 459, 460, 461: Visited clinics after having symptoms and tested positive.

Case 457 had coughing, shiver, etc. Case 459 had a fever. Case 460 had a fever and coughing. And case 461 had a running nose.

The health authority identified 26 people as close contact group and excecuted tests.

* Jeju also found a doctor got infected who is running a clinic in Jeju City. It tested visitors to the clinic of 28 who went there on January 4th and 5th.

  Jeju had 4 more cases of COVID19(449~456) added on January 4th. This is 0.5% of all the samples tesed out of 1,565.

  The 8 cases are ▲3 from contacting case 441(451· 452·453) ▲3 from contacting case 443(449·450·454) ▲1 from Dongbaek Welfare Center(456) ▲1 to be resovled.

- 451, 452, 453: Family with case 441.

Been in isolation since January 3rd when case 441 tested positive.

Case 451 has no symptoms. Case 452 has a slight cold and coughs. And case 453 has a sinus cold.

- 449, 450, 454: Contacted case 443.

Cases 449 and 450번 are family with case 443. Been in isolation from January 3rd when case 443 was confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus.

Case 454 contacted case 443.

Case 449 has no symptoms. Case 450 has a stuffy nose and disgeusia. And case 454 has a running and stuffy nose.

- 456: Contacted case 377 who is related with Dongbaek Welfare Center. Been in isolation since December 26th. This sums up to 19 who got infected throught the center.

- 455: Visited a healthcare center after having symptoms like coughing, and tested positived after tests.

  Jeju has 27 more cases of COVID19 during the first 3 days of New Year: 13 on January 1st, 4 on the 2nd, and 10 on the 3rd.

● Jan. 1st(422~434)

- 425, 426, 427, 429, 431: Related with Halla Sauna. Tested positived before being released from isolation.

Cases 425 and 426 are family with case 210, case 427 with case 202, cases 429 & 431 with case 198. Have been in isolation since December 19th.

(They are 83 cases now from Halla Sauna as of the midnight of January 1st).

- 422, 423, 430, 433, 434: Contacted patients.

Cases 422 and 423 contacted case 417 who was confirmed with a positive result.

Case 430 is family with case 424. The test on December 25th was negative.

- 433, 434: Family with case 315. Been in isolation since December 23 when case 315 test positive.

- 432: Arrivedn in Jeju on January 1st. Had a sample collected at the walk-thru clinic at the airport.

- 424, 428: Being researched.

● Jan. 2nd(435~438)

- 435: Contacted case 221 who got infected through the church.

- 438: Contacted case 431 through Halla Sauna. 

- 437: Contacted case 249, and has been in isolation. Showed no specific symptoms.

- 436: Had symptoms before going to getting a test done.

(They are 84 from Halla Sauna and 33 from Gimnyeong Cathedral as of the midnight of the 2nd).

● Jan. 3rd(439~448)

Case 439 is family with case 299. Symptoms developed during isolation.

Case 442 contacted case 326.

- 444, 445, 446: Related with Gil vocational rehabilitation center.

Had negative results on December 23rd.

- 447: Contacted case 333. Tested negative on December 24th.

- 448: Family with case 441. The test right after the confirmation of case 441 ended up 'positive'.

- 440: Arrived in Jeju on December 21st. Had a result of 'negative' in the first.

Jeju announced that it had 5 cases on December 31st and 9 on January 1st (as of 5pm) of COVID19.

- 417: Arrived in Jeju on December 2nd.

(As of the midnight of December 31st, 202 people are in hospital, and 219 - including 1 that was transferred to the mainland - were discharged.
78 cases are from the sauna, and 57 from the live cafe.
